Young Swan Viv Russo runs out for his 100th game this week in the opening round against Waaia. Viv overcame a serious knee injury in 2021 working hard to rehabilitate. Returning in 2023 and with opportunities as sub, Viv showed his ability to play at the senior level being selected to make his senior debut against Katandra in April 2023. Since then Viv has become an exceptional young footballer cementing his spot in the senior team. Viv’s commitment, determination, positive attitude and sublime football skills are attributes that will see him play a key role in the success of the Katunga Swans in 2024 and over many years to come. Congratulations Viv on 100 club games and good luck for season 2024.
