The Russo name is becoming synonymous with the Katunga Football Netball Club. This week we welcome Ryan Russo into the 1st XVIII starting list after applying himself well in the sub role in the last two games. Ryan is another junior product working his way through the junior ranks, being renowned for his hard work, and dedication to football he shows no fear when confronted with a tough contest. Ryan has excelled in the 3rd XVIII under the coaching of Xavier Thorp and has trained hard with both groups to earn his spot in the side predominantly by applying himself fully. This season Ryan has inspired his team mates with his “never die” attitude, pressure act after pressure act, and his courage to give his all for his team mates. Whilst maintaining his positive attitude in limited on field time in the sub games he showed he can lay a hard tackle and has a great defensive game whilst never backing down and remaining cool under pressure. We know that Ryan is destined for a long association with the KFNC and wish him all the best in his senior debut!
